Beauty Update

Beauty wise, there are some products that really stand out if I ask myself what I loved to apply this summer.

I bought two products at Superdrug from their Tea Tree line, and I'm loving them so much I think I might go back and buy the whole line. I even got them on a deal and paid so little for two products that are worth so much. I'm talking about the Facial Moisturiser and the Spot Stick. They both smell like peppermint and tea tree oil, feel fresh and tingly on the skin, and help reducing redness and skin problems. The spot stick is magical, it makes blemishes disappear overnight.

I've purchased the third product at Superdrug as well, it is a travel size scrub, the St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub, and this works wonders on my skin. I can just use the tiniest amount and get the softest skin in a matter of seconds. Oh, and I love apricots and the packaging is so nice. I'd like to try some other products from the same brand, any suggestion? Have you ever tried them?

The last couple of products belong to the hair care section, they are a dry shampoo and a hair mask.

The Batiste Dry Shampoo in the fragrance Original is a travel size bottle I got when I was in London, it's really lovely because the scent is not overpowering (a problem I have with some other hair products I own) and I can just spray a tiny bit to get volume and a fresh hair effect.

I bought Davines' NouNou Hair Mask at the hairdresser. While trimming and washing my hair, the kind hairdresser used some Davines products and they instantly made my hair feel better, so I asked her to suggest me some products and she gave me this. It's a thick cream that smells weird and leaves my hair soft and silky. It's helping a lot, letting it grow healthier and repairing the dry ends. My hair is so damaged because I permed it twice in the past years, now I'm trying to let it grow stronger even though in the long run this will mean having it straight instead of curly.

I hope you enjoyed this update and maybe found some inspiration, let me know what you think and if you have any product suggestion, please leave a comment below.

Till next time,
Marti xx
