Smooth Skin Routine

As you might know by now, I love makeup and beauty products. One thing I really care about is my face, so I'm always on the hunt for the best products. I really can't stand liquid foundation (I don't know why, maybe it's just because I've never really got used to it) so I always do my best to make my skin look smooth and healthy without covering it in makeup.
I can call myself lucky because I don't have a serious issue with acne, I only have to face some red spots from time to time. My skin is pretty smooth but I have some dry patches and some areas affected by blackheads, although the problem seems to get smaller as I grow old up (thank you nature). If you are still a teenager, don't worry, you can always hope in the future. When I was younger I had major skin problems, and now they have almost vanished.

I am by no means an expert, so feel free to tell me if you believe something I do or say on my blog is wrong.

At the moment, the products I use are the following.

When I want to clean my face deeply (and I never do this more than once a week because I don't want to stress my skin), I begin with applying the Sephora Mud Mask in the areas affected by large, clogged pores, such as the nose and chin. This mud mask tends to dry the skin, so it's better to avoid using it too often or on sensitive areas. I keep it on until it gets dry, then wash it off and rub the nose and chin with the St. Ives Apricot Scrub. I find this product really effective, the tiny beads work miracles for the skin. I wash it off as well and proceed to rub the whole face (minus the eye area) with the BV Exfoliating Cleanser. This is a really light product and feels nice on the skin, it's the only product of the bunch that I would suggest using more than once a week since it's not too harsh.
After those three steps, I rinse my face and dry it with a towel, then apply a moisturising cream. At the moment I'm using the BV Normalizing Cream, but I usually go for face creams that contain SPF to protect my skin. In addition to the cream, whenever I notice red spots, I apply the Superdrug Tea Tree Spot Stick that helps preventing further skin issues.

These are the products I found out to work best with my skin type so far. I'm always open to recommendations, so if you know some good products please leave a comment below.
