Italian Culture

As you might now, I'm Italian. Therefore, I speak and understand Italian.

Having said that, I've always felt British at heart, and I love the English language deeply. Every single accent and peculiarity. I'm glad I speak Italian but I'm not a big fan of Italian music, films, contemporary literature. I tend to stick to English most of the time.

Despite what I just said, there are some Italian authors and people that I really appreciate. I thought I might start a tiny series on this blog about some of my favourites. I'm going to pick films, books, poems and songs that I really like and translate some bits, while explaining why I love them.

Let me know if you might be interested in this and if you know some Italian novels, singers and celebrities and if you're interested in any specific translation (I really enjoy translating stuff).

Today I'm going to work on a list of famous pieces, on Sunday I'll upload the first post of the series.
