Blog Highlights

This year I've decided to start taking my blog more seriously and to try to keep up with a blogging routine. My goal was to post three times a week, even when I felt like I had nothing to say. I am proud to say I managed to keep up with my routine quite well, and even if my posts haven't always been published in the three days I had picked (Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) I managed to keep the number of posts quite high. In fact, the total number of posts I have published in the first trimester of 2017 is already higher than the number of posts I uploaded in the whole 2016. My schedule has now changed because of my job, which keeps me fairly busy and doesn't leave me much time to write or take pictures (that's my main problem at the moment), but I hope I'll still manage to upload frequently.

So far in 2017 I have done many great things. I have completed my dissertation, then graduated, moved to the UK, turned 23, found a job and met Niomi Smart (a post about this experience is coming soon).

I have also read a few books, taken some good pictures and written posts that make me happy, like the one where I talk about Disney, the one about musical theatre, the one about shopping or my series about Italian culture.

I am also very glad to let you know that this post is my 100th published post. 100, say what? I am really impressed and a bit proud of myself for not giving up on my blog despite the number of things that often put me off writing.

I was thinking of doing a giveaway to celebrate this tiny achievement of mine, but I haven't really thought much about what I might include in it, so I guess I'll just do it later this year, when I find something worth giving away ("worth giving away" sounds like I'm trying to get rid of something that I don't like anymore but I promise my giveaway won't be something like that, hahah).

Anyway, I have some beauty posts coming up soon, and they will be mixed up with some more Italian culture posts, book reviews and some other topics here and there. I hope you'll like my future posts and you'll keep following my adventures and my (sometimes) interesting life.

See you soon,

Martina x
