Christmas Plans

By Martina - Friday, December 22, 2017

Tomorrow my parents and brother are landing in London. We will spend a few days together, celebrate Christmas with my boyfriend, his parents and a couple of friends at the flat they rented, and eat lots of very good food. I was so upset when I realised I couldn't go home for Christmas, my mum really amazed me by deciding to organise a trip here during the holidays. Now I have been looking forward to this week for a while and I am so happy it's here.

I have got a few presents waiting to be opened under the tiny tree we decorated about a month ago. Some are for me, and I don't really know what to expect, but I hope there's something related to Harry Potter hiding somewhere, as Harry Potter and Christmas for some reason have always been associated in my mind - probably because they both make me really happy. Some presents are for my boyfriend, family and friends, and I can't wait to see their reaction when they open them, I really hope they love them.

I got myself the best unexpected self Christmas present yesterday night: two tickets to see Hamilton in the West End in July! And I am talking about July 2018, as in a few months from now, I still can't believe it! I am going to see it with my boyfriend and we are going to sit in the front row of the grand circle - how cool is that? Always wanted to be in the front row, and I get to be there for a musical that means so much to me... Wow! I feel so lucky to be in London and be able to book tickets so freely. It's the best thing in the world. I live for the stage, though more as a viewer than as an actress.

Have you got any plans for the next few days? I bet you do. Feel free to share your stories and links to your best Christmas posts in the comments.
